Christophe Gobin

Christophe Gobin is in charge of Research and Development at Vinci Construction, the leading French building and civil engineering group and a global player, operating on five continents with more than 70,000 employees and 700 companies.
For several years, he has developed actions that are in line with the perspective of sustainable development.
Since 1992, within the framework of a partnership with Mines ParisTech, he has participated in the deployment of LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) and Equer, a life cycle assessment software allowing environmental evaluation of buildings. As leader of GREDD research group (Groupe de Recherche Environnement et Développement Durable), he contributed in 2000 to the first ISO 14001 certification of a construction company. Since 2008, he has also been a member of the steering committee of the Paristech-Vinci chair on the eco-design of buildings and infrastructures.
He also chairs the scientific council of ESTP (École Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du Bâtiment et de l’Industrie).
